Congrats to Aaron Nelson and Kevin Shannon. they decided to split the win giving Nelson the title and Shanon a while bag of Jolly Ranchers.

Do Aarons arms get bigger and more defined at every tournament?
Blake Huffman

You know what I'm talking about. This is just like that time Captain Picard wanted Luke to go with Treebeard but Luke was all "I don't know what you're talking about, do you mean this dragon I caught?" and Captain Picard was all NO RETARD, I mean go with that tree and Luke just kept talking to his friends Anakin and Jar-Jar and then he left Picard on Mordor and forgot about it completely. I love that episode.

Quoted from an email my wife sent me.

Conversely, Shannon's arms get hairier at every tournament.

I don't think you know what "conversely" means. :)

Meanwhile, I know that Kevin would sometimes use a coin flip to determine which deck to play first in a match, rather than just making a choice based on seeding. With what Anodos said about Aaron's arms getting bigger, maybe he and I could also ignore seeding, and arm wrestle for deck choice in the first game of a match.

Haha, that'd be kinda fun....Does this mean you'll be attending a major event sometime soon?

Well CO States is a "championship level event" and I'll probably get dragged to that. But I bet SoCal will get scared and no-show! :-D So we'd have to wait for something else before we could implement this plan.

Nah, pretty sure you can just come alone. You don't need to bring a date

But i might be the only one to show up alone, it's never happened to me before but it's terribly sad to see someone walk in all alone.

There was discussion about that this weekend. No final decision I don't believe.

Yeah, congrats to Nelson with stall time tactics and screwing an opponent out of a turn he should have had to win the game...
