Re: Updates?
He went undefeated until the very last round, where Darren managed to finally break his win-streak. Emil and Pär both finished with 14 victory points (with Emil obviously having the better SoS), Darren had 12 points and then there were 6 of us with 10 points (me, Kristian, Angelo, Chris and, umm.. sorry guys, I forgot who the other 5-3s were. Dan? Cedric?).TB wrote:so emil won it? Grats mate. Guess teching for tie-clouds before worlds is recommendable. I had a lot of fun this weekend, especially considering I missed my flight and damn near missed the entire tournament!
Thanks (in no particular order) goes out to:
Paul - For running an excellent show, for endless pickups from the airport/train station, and for dropping us off again this morning just in the nick of time to catch my train home! Cheers, mate. You rock

Enno - For picking me up from Gatwick Airport at 2:30 in the morning and driving me all the way up to Leicester. You helped save my weekend for sure. Vielen dank, mein freund!
Casper & Kristian - My faithful Team Copenhagen buddies, for another awesome international tournament adventure. Sorry for missing my plane and thus the mad night of pre-tourney deck-teching we usually do. Glad we had time for a little bit of tweaking after waking up.
Emil & Pär - For being awesome! Being absent from the game for what, 8 years? then coming back 6 months ago, only to dominate the tourney scene, not only in Denmark/Sweden, but also taking the top 2 spots at their first Euro Championship since returning to the game. Major respect guys!
Everyone who went to the restaurant after the tournament - So much fun was had by all! Great evening, guys.
To whomever accidentally paid for my beer so I didn't have to - Thanks!

Linus (the EasyJet counter-clerk) - For selling me a last minute ticket despite his company's policies, saving my weekend!
Special slops to out to:
The City of Leicester - For shutting down at 1am, leaving us nowhere to go grab some more drinks once the restaurant closed. Bad form!!
EasyJet - For being the * airline company in the world and almost making me miss the Euro Championships with their runaround *

Yes, I will try and get that done before the end of the week. Something called life is in the way

Thank you everyone for an awesome weekend btw. Only downside was watching the doors closing to the train home from Copenhagen to Sweden (AND seeing Pär aboard the train w my ticket). I missed the train because I was blocked by two very slow ladies

Re: Updates?
What is it with Vikings (of any kind), and missed transport vehicles?
There must be a rule for that.
Nice that you will do a report, Emil.
