rennal car pledge drive

Post by The Smoking Gungan »

Mike is going to have 9 swccg players (counting himself) at his house this weekend. That's obv more than one carload, so I was thinking of renting a car to split the load. kayak has a toyota corolla for $55 plus gas for the entire weekend (fri-mon). that's not too bad, but i was hoping some of the folks staying with mike would be willing to chip in some money to help cover the cost. i was thinking like $12, or less if everyone put something in. lemme know soon so i can decide whether to do this or not

Do you want to touch my scar on Saturday?
Blake Huffman

You know what I'm talking about. This is just like that time Captain Picard wanted Luke to go with Treebeard but Luke was all "I don't know what you're talking about, do you mean this dragon I caught?" and Captain Picard was all NO RETARD, I mean go with that tree and Luke just kept talking to his friends Anakin and Jar-Jar and then he left Picard on Mordor and forgot about it completely. I love that episode.

Sure I can chip in $12. I'm sure it'll help Mike and whomever is trucking folks back n forth.

We could do this, if it would help.

Someone could switch with me to stay at James' place. He should be able to carry everyone there. Then I can stay at Mike's and can hold 4 more max in my car.

You could also just see if there is any room left at Mike's place. He probably has a corner you can sleep in.

But then that would mean 10 people and we may not be able to transport that and be in the same spot, except I'm worse off.

It seems, most likely, I will have an extra car for someone to drive. My wife is going to be out of town.

Nevermind. Change of plans again. Dolly will be here but she said she will try her "best" to give everyone car rides when they need it.

Joseph Graham is coming down as well. He will have a vehicle. Not sure where he is staying yet.

I can stay at your place Mike if that'll help with travel (that was my plan anyway). Let me know if you need me to get there earlier tomorrow to help with carpooling, otherwise I was planning on driving straight to the Fox and Hound and get there around 5:30-6.

I will have a car too, but I'm staying with James and my car is messy from having 2 kids and smells because I fart in it all the time. If someone really wants to ride with me and talk about Texas high school football you are more than welcome, but you will need to pay for gas.
