x2, although if Mike Richards' previous efforts hold true, we will have decklists super quick from this event.

I'll post my TR tomorrow.

Joseph should have the results put in quick.

Mike, I believe has the deckists.

Just a quick note on what was played.

Nick - Wookies/Forget
Bobby - TIGIH/ROPS

Shaw - TIGIH/Forget
Matt - Unknown/Unknown

Robbie - LSC Racing/Spice Clouds (worst deck ever)
Mike - Chu Communing Bargawin Jizz (no offense to Chu on this)/Spice Clouds

Aaron - WYSv/EOPs
Baroni - Communing/HDv (what else)

I think Bobby beat Nick pretty good with TIGIH. I didn't hear the result of the ROPs game. I figured he'd win that though because I played him against ROPs day before and he played pretty well with it.

I didn't talk to Shaw that much about his match.

Mike and I should have just flipped a coin and split prize money. The first game he got a TW +1 with his spice vs lsc racing. The 2nd game I got him by 20ish in a terribly uninteractive game.

There was some heated discussion in the Baroni/Nelson match but I didn't ask.

Shaw crushed Bobby with ROPs. He grabbed his Ghhhk and did a bunch of beatdowns.

Baroni just outplayed me. I was drained from my match with Richards and forgot I'm sorry about 99% of the time. Even so, the deck was keeping me in it until I went for a quicker win and Baroni saw the right move. As soon as he did, I knew I had just shot myself in the foot. The LSC vs HDv match just wasn't there for me. There were a couple of things I had wish I had put in that weren't in the deck. Plus, to be honest, I was just trying to get past Mike. If I had beaten Baroni or Nelson in top 4, that would have been gravy.

No final was played.

Day 1 decks to the best of my knowledge.

Nick - Hyperdrive/HDv
Aaron - WYSv/Watto
Robbie - Senate/Senate
Shaw - TIGIH/AOBS
Matt - ???/HDv I believe it may have been communing
Mike - QMC/Spice Clouds
Baroni - Communing/HDv
Bobby - Communing/ROPs

Also congrats to Shaw and thanks to everyone for flying in. It was really fun.

Congrats Greg on the win.

Day 2 Decks

Nick - Wookiees/Spice TIEs
Bobby - TIGIH [PODRACING]/ROPs
Shaw - TIGIH/Traditional Hunt Down
Matt - WHAP/ don't know (It had characters and sites, maybe even some starships. Everything was from the DS)
Robbie - LSC Racing/Spice TIEs
Mike - Communing/Spice TIEs
Aaron - WYSv/EOPs
Baroni - Communing/HDv

TIGIH Podracing went 5-2 w/ a Timed Loss =reserver decks and counting having to count Lost Pile and the other lost to Shaw's Hunt Down on Day 2 with Bobby piloting it.

I pretty much just watched Bobby play on Day 2.

Bobby vs. Nick
TIGIH Podracing vs. Spice TIEs
Bobby went down with HCF on turn 2 won a battle at the sector and never the Falcon never left the table the rest of the game. He took over Kessel with Corran and Home One. From then on it was just draining and Spice lameness with Bobby getting retrieval from the podrace. It ended on time and Bob won by 11.

ROPs vs. Wookiees
This was kinda boring (no offense). Nick spread out on Kashyyk and Bob spread out on Raltiir. Bob had a Star Destroyer + Admiral at 2 systems and Nick had Luke + Wedge on a ship at another. The played follow the leader in space and had a couple of battles on Raltiir. There was lots of retrieval on both sides so both were doing about 1 force loss to each other per turn. Timed win again for Bobby.

Bobby vs. Greg
ROPs vs. TIGIH (no podracing??? for some reason Greg left his podracer at home)
Greg went down quickly with Mace who never left and Bobby drew terrible destinies the whole game. Qui-Gon found himself a home on Raltiir soon after and Bobby was reeling the whole time. I think full win by 31 for Greg

TIGIH Podracing vs. HD
2nd turn Mara at the db captured Luke but Bob OOC/TTed Visage. Many battles were waged at the DB with Bob having more destiny troubles and it got even worse when Shaw started stacking his characters for Podrace destinies so that he was drawing 5s and 6s in every battle (genius!). Bob canceled visage twice more but couldn't ever get a foothold nor hit Vader at the only site that mattered, the dreaded Endor DB. Greg put the cherry on top by battling the sneaky Jar Jar at the holochamber with a lone Crack Fett to which Brian Herold commented "Ouch Time!" (classic).

All in all we had a good time playing some SW again and seeing old friends. Props to James for putting us up at your place. Props to Joseph for running the tournament. Prop to Mich Rich (my new nickname for MICHael RICHards) for putting the event together and for showing me that things never change and he still can't get a tournament started on time. Props to B. Herold for being hilarious all weekend. Props to that pretzel sandwich. Props to Bobby Fett for getting 4th. Props to the waitress who brought me 10 refils of Dr. Pepper through out the day. Slops to Houston for being so big. Slops to the Lakers and slops to the random mexican guy who I think was hitting on me (wierd...).

Congrats Greg, you were charming as always.
Blake Huffman

You know what I'm talking about. This is just like that time Captain Picard wanted Luke to go with Treebeard but Luke was all "I don't know what you're talking about, do you mean this dragon I caught?" and Captain Picard was all NO RETARD, I mean go with that tree and Luke just kept talking to his friends Anakin and Jar-Jar and then he left Picard on Mordor and forgot about it completely. I love that episode.

What were the contents of the heated discussion between Baroni and Nelson?

I think it had to do with someone laying a finger on someone else's Butterfinger.

Thanks everyone!

Huge props to Mike Richards for setting up the weekend and hosting half the field as usual, Joseph Graham for being an A+ TD all three days, and to everyone who made the trip out to Houston making the weekend what it was. 10/10, would attend again next year!
