so it's 1v8, 2v7, 3v6, 4v5... then winners of 1v8 and 4v5 play and winners of 2v7 and 3v6 play right?

I heard from someone very close w/ Reid that Reid is 6 and Chu is 7. He specifically said Reid was 6 playing vs Emil.

Matt/Baroni rematch in the first round eh? That should be a good one to watch, I hope it goes better for Matt here than it did at the MPC!

Congratulations to solid top 8. How you can tell that this game is not skill- based is beyond me.

Well all I can say is hopefully it was all done correctly. Obviously the top 8 are preparing based on what Reid was told, so I just hope that is correct for the sake of fairness. In all honesty though with those 8 it doesn't matter. Just pick a name out of a hat and you're gonna have your hands full. As long as everyone can prepare accordingly the night before.

I feel stupid to ask this, but since I noticed that others don't get it either I'll have to ask again...

Can somebody explain to me what the final top 8 ranking looks like after Day 3.

1 Justin
2. Reid

I get that, but what is the ranking of 3-8 and why?

Thanks for any help.

3. Chu

They both made the semi finals and lost, and since they did not play a match it reverts to their standings on Day 2, with the higher seed getting the higher finishing spot.

5. Matt HT
6. Vikram
7. Emil
8. Shannon
