It's what you get for leaving early. He made it down by 7.

I ran into him at the airport. I made it to the counter at the same time he was being informed his flight was delayed.

Thanks!

I think you have the wrong person. Herold missed his flight. I know this because I was with him as I missed mine as well.

Hmmm.... that is entirely possible. I met a lot of new people at the event and I'm notoriously bad with names. Whoever I met at the airport gave me a drunken hug at about 1:30 a.m. in the morning and I thought it was Brian. Whoever it was he was supposed to fly through Chicago and they were having issues.

Thanks!

In related news, I was super happy to see Kyle alive on Sunday.

On a scale of 1-10, that was about a 7, maybe an 8. I drank WAY too fast and I hadn't eaten nearly enough to make that work.

I was telling someone, maybe Kim, I'd never seen someone go from zero to slurring quite that fast. Usually it's a steady progression, this was like less than 90 seconds.

Your liver must be a champ, I don't know if I could've formed coherent sentences the next day.

So what you're saying is Kyle is a lightweight?

I think I'm saying he chugged vodka, however, it's only an inference as I didn't witness the act itself. EPP Drunk Kyle with 1/3-full Bottle of Vodka leads one to draw certain conclusions, though.

It started with a bottle of goose with a case of imports for a chaser. By the time he hit the floor, the bottle was 7/8 air, and the beer was gone....and I was the only other one drinking the goose. I had 3 shots.

No lightweights here. Hell, the fact that we all saw him alive and speaking clear English the next morning makes him a champ.

Fireball is for sissies that are trying to pretend they aren't sissies.

I don't think any of us said it was the only thing we drank. I can appreciate top shelf well enough, but sometimes I want some cinnamon.
