The power cube draft event is in progress! We have 10 players, and we've rejiggered the tourney format a bit. We split the field into 5 light side, and 5 dark side players, and everyone drafted just one side. And then we're doing a round robin format with 5 games (and differential as tiebreaker), and the top two players overall will receive the bye.
Here's the list of players:
Emil Wallin (Dark)
Angelo Consoli (who's very sad about the Dark deck he drafted)
Marvin Tegeler (Dark)
Brian Bolletta (Dark)
Greg Shaw (Dark)
Peter Tenneson (Light)
Kyle McLean (Light)
Pierre Dubreuil (Light)
Phillipe Dubreuil (Light)
Atul Siviswami (Light)
We're in the middle of the 2nd game so far, and everyone's having a good time.

Re: Power Cube Draft event
Without knowing everybody, I'd say Light is going to have an uphill battle playing against Shaw, Emil, and Angelo.

Re: Power Cube Draft event
True to Bill's prediction, Emil came in first place as the only undefeated player after 5 games with a nifty Watto deck. The byes went to Phillipe Dubreuil from Quebec, and Peter "Got Blown Out By Counter Assault" Tenneson.
A big thanks goes to Emil, Marvin, Angelo and Greg for helping me figure out how the cube worked (and putting the cube back together after the tourney), as well as Nick Tobin for being quick and accurate with rules questions.
Overall everyone really enjoyed playing their games, and I think this means that I ran the longest Cube event in the history of SWCCG?
