Framing Premiere Rare Sheets

Post by stephengascrub »

Does anyone have any advice how to go about framing premiere uncut rare sheets without spending an arm and a leg? They’re unusually large at 12x13 so those top holders, even the 32 x 43 won’t quite fit it.

I don’t mind saving up and eventually going for some solution with large frames, but custom frames can be $$$. Any suggestions? Do most of you just let these particular sheets in tubes?

Thanks!!!

I got my custom frames for the 11x11 sheets for like 200 bucks. You could probably choose a cheaper frame but still nice looking and do a smaller mat around them. You could also not get the mat, but they then glue the sheet to some poster board, which I didn't want. So the mat added to the cost.

Just do it at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. They will routinely have coupons and deals to get anywhere from 50% to 75% off. Save up and then go in and check it out with the coupon. I don't think you'll be disappointed in doing it vs the cheap office.

Thanks! That makes sense, and probably is the best route given their size, etc.

Happy to help. I'll try and upload pictures of mine this weekend here for you to see.

I also forgot to mention they can have UV protection on the glass. So it will help protect your sheets in high sunlight areas. You can also see them in the Endor videos where I'm doing the commentary.
