I'm guessing you had a few bad experiences with him. Give it another try, he's awesome. He wins games. He complements a group of smaller minions perfectly. He sometimes makes a surprise appearance on turn 4 or 5. He sometimes comes down late game for 2 mana in addition to the OTHER big play you're also making at the same time.
doh.

Wow, I totally confused sea giant with mountain giant.

Mountain giant is so BLOODY awful.

Sea giant is amazing. Sea giant is better than faceless in many decks. In druid in vacuum, I would take faceless. In this deck, sea giant.

Well, Bye.

30. I love Baron, and your hero power helps you set up the table for him.
I prefer the argus for the first pick. i also assumed he took the brewmaster and applauded it. i'd have gone innervate... if i didn't see the rest of the draft prior.

baron would have been suicide, as he doesn't have much that survives baron often, he did a good job in legendaries.

10. Gazetgan Auctioneer, Bloodsaid Corsair, Murloc Tidecaller
0-0 1-1 2-3 3-1 4-1 5-3 6-0 7+-1
11. Pint Sized Summoner, Raven Holdt Assassin, Demolisher - I like the assassin better generally, but demolisher is a better curve pick and still impacts the board w/ its presence.
0-0 1-1 2-3 3-2 4-1 5-3 6-0 7+-1
12. Silverback Patriach, Ancient Brewmaster, Booty Bay bodyguard
0-0 1-1 2-3 3-2 4-2 5-3 6-0 7+-1

0-0 1-1 2-4 3-2 4-2 5-3 6-0 7+-2
15. Windfury, Stormwind Knight, Lightning Bolt - I do like stormwind, but this is decent removal and could work w/ the auctioneer.

18. Reckless Rocketeer, Ironforge Rifleman, Spellbreaker
0-0 1-3 2-4 3-3 4-3 5-3 6-0 7+-2
19. Stormwind Knight, Fen Creeper, Kobold Geomancer - do kinda like Kobold for cheap spell power burst, but stormwind works well w/ my healing totem.
0-0 1-3 2-4 3-3 4-4 5-3 6-0 7+-2
20. Sunwalker, Violet Teacher, Sunfury Protector - I like Violet w/ my spells, but I dont have a 6 and Sunwalker is really good overall.
0-0 1-3 2-4 3-3 4-4 5-3 6-1 7+-2
21. Hex, Boulderfist Ogre, Stormwind Champion - man I hate getting packs like this after some of the crap I've gotten. I think super removal is the way to go.
0-0 1-3 2-4 3-4 4-4 5-3 6-1 7+-2
22. Darkscale Healer, Razorfen Hunter, Murloc Raider
0-0 1-3 2-4 3-4 4-4 5-4 6-1 7+-2
23. Acidic Swamp ooze, Flametongue TOken, Raging Worgen. Truly torn here between the first 2, but I go with Flametongue since he lets my totems clear 3/2s.
0-0 1-3 2-5 3-4 4-4 5-4 6-1 7+-2
24. Sunwalker, Imp Master, Young Priestess - sunwalker wins again, I am worried that my totems and summoning imps might not be good together (fill up my board etc), though she can be constantly healer.
0-0 1-3 2-5 3-4 4-4 5-4 6-2 7+-2
25. Bloodsail Corsair, Secret Keeper, Violet Teacher
0-0 1-3 2-5 3-4 4-5 5-4 6-2 7+-2
26. Totemic Might, Windfury, War Golem
0-0 1-3 2-5 3-4 4-5 5-4 6-2 7+-3
27. Dark Iron Dward, Lord of the Arena, Gnomish Inventory
0-0 1-3 2-5 3-4 4-6 5-4 6-2 7+-3
28. Ravenholt Assassin, Ancestral Spirit, Angry Chicken - Assassin is good by I have too many 7s already, and spells work well for me
0-0 1-3 2-6 3-4 4-6 5-4 6-2 7+-3
29. Venture Co. Mercenary, Hex, Razorfen Hunter - curve/spell/removal pick
0-0 1-3 2-6 3-5 4-6 5-4 6-2 7+-3
30. Arcane Golem, Stampeding Kodo, Argent Commander

2. Spellbreaker. Though it turns out you might have some good targets for Windfury.
19. You made the right choice, Kobold Geomancer is pretty bad.
23. This is a tough pick. Ooze in a vacuum, though you do already have Harrison. Raging Worgen is always good too. The Flametongue may very well pay off and perhaps win you a game, but the other two cards are also capable of doing the same. Raging Worgen is probably the least likely to outright win a game.

It's unfortunate, but not surprising, that you were not offered any Lightning Storm. Shaman relies on a rare card for board clear and that often becomes a problem. No Fire Elemental and no Earth Elemental is also unfortunate.

It's unusual that you were offered Raging Worgen twice and had to pass it both times. This guy normally beats lots of other choices.

You have no card draw other than the Auctioneer, so you might try to save him for when you'll be able to make good use of his ability. You might also make a very mild attempt to skew slightly towards using your hero power more often, to conserve cards. Like if you already have some stuff on the table after clearing his side, maybe add a totem instead of your Sunfury Protector if it seems safe to do so.

It's coming eventually.

It's going from "beta" to "official release" on PC and Mac very soon, though the exact date hasn't been anounced. There won't be any huge changes, but a couple minor features will be added like fancy card backs you can earn.

After official release, they'll gradually be rolling out iPad, Android, and iPhone. I think they've said iPad is at the top of that list.

not a fan of mirror image or eth arcanist.

Late rounds 6-9 could get dicey.

With reasonable luck I would say 10-3. With good luck 12-0

The choices on that pick were absolutely the worst possible, and I already had the 2 secrets in my deck, and enough apprentices that those secrets are likely to be discounted.

It's a strong card when you do actually pull of the combo, and I'm in a fair (not great) position to do so. Otherwise yes, dead or bad card in my hand.

It was one of the first few picks of the draft so I was going in blind, and selected Onyxia as an all-around good card. The other choices were Alexstraza and Leeroy.

Ah, well between those Onyxia is probably the best earlu. once you drafted 2 pyros though i'd be kicking myself for not drafting alexstraza

DO you guys have any good articles about drafting strategy I could read?

So far I'm 0-6. I did do better my second time (had one of my opponents down to 5 and I was at 24... * jarraxxus).

Thanks!

When drafting, you'll always be choosing between 3 commons, 3 rares, 3 epics, or 3 legendaries. You never have to choose between, say, a common and a rare. Thus, card rankings are broken out by rarity:

Neutral Commons
http://www.liquidhearth.com/forum/arena ... al-commons

Neutral Rares
http://www.liquidhearth.com/forum/arena ... tral-rares

Neutral Epics and Neutral Legendaries
http://www.liquidhearth.com/forum/arena ... egendaries

Druid Rankings
http://www.liquidhearth.com/forum/arena ... list-druid

The other 8 classes haven't been covered by Trump yet.

This guy did all 9 classes but I don't trust him quite as much as Trump.

Sometimes i hate drafting. i drafted a deck that was a rushdown shaman deck using dust devils, and i played 5 people in a row with a turn 1 play. and none of them were good cards. turn 1 archer, turn 1 deckhand ect.

in general, I think playing good is much much more important than drafting good.

I think so too. but you are capped at about 8 wins unless you get a good draft. or are exceptionally lucky.
