2 undefeated, 6 1 win, 2 0 win players after game 2. Lots of Scum for DS, which hasn't been doing well

Re: Central NJ event- Saturday Nov 12th
Director's report details:
So we had 10 players for the event, and there was a decent variety of decks played.
LS- HB, TRM, WYS, WHAP, TIGIH
DS- Coruscant CRv, Court Scum, Court Mains, Court troopers, BHBM, SYCFA
LS won 13 games, DS won 7 games
Of the 20 games played, 5 were decided by time. During Chris Kelly's game round 1 with Mike D'amboise, they tied with 17 cards left down, 19 cards in lost pile, and 0 cards in hand, so we had to flip a coin. Mike called Heads and was correct and got the win.
The TIGIH and BHBM players did not play against either other, and neither of them crossed anyone to win the game, but both of them got quite a few cards stacked.
A First Order trooper had his blaster shot deflected back at him, and then got made immediately lost with Blaster Proficiency.
We had players representing 4 different states- NY, NJ, CT, and PA in attendance.
Several of the players had listened to my podcast from the night before and were discussing the impact that the v-card I spoiled will have on the current state of the game. Definitely seems like its going to shake things up a bit, which might bring that win total close to 50/50 instead of 65/35 for LS at future events.
Peer pressure was attempted to get Mike, Joe, and Steve to sign up for the MPC, but as of yet, none of them has followed through and signed up.
Overall it was good time, would have been great to get 2 more games in, but I had a concert to get to (and Yellowcard friggin ROCKED IT last night, as did the opening act- Like Torches who were from Sweden- they taught the crowd a couple Swedish things that I will have to confirm with Emil are accurate).
Thanks to everyone who showed up and look forward to the next event in a few weeks!

I posted it in the other thread, but again, mad props to Mike for self-enforcing Court at the end to even get to that coin flip. I need me a Hutt Influence in that deck...gogolen wrote:During Chris Kelly's game round 1 with Mike D'amboise, they tied with 17 cards left down, 19 cards in lost pile, and 0 cards in hand, so we had to flip a coin. I was going to use it on stupid FN-2003 when he made himself 'hit,' but using it on the Blaster Deflection hit seemed like a cool enough scenario in a game I was already down to just go for it.
Yeah, but is the LS counterpart you talked about any good?gogolen wrote:Several of the players had listened to my podcast from the night before and were discussing the impact that the v-card I spoiled will have on the current state of the game. Thanks again for running the event, Chris.
Also, a shout out to graphics for the cool AI. You guys are awesome!!!
