Live reporting

Is there any interest to do live reporting for this? Do we have good wifi at the place?

For this to happen it would mean someone being dedicated to it and not playing - I would much rather that person just played in the event. That said, if I scrub out round one (quite likely) then I'd happily commentate for round 2 onwards rather than play in the consolation bracket. For what it's worth, I feel the same way about this at Worlds - I would much rather all of those players just played even though it would have meant that I personally missed out on all of the twitch coverage.

It works at Worlds because there are usually 1-2 players that fly in and don't really care about playing.

I'll have to check for WiFi at the place. I'll go there in January and check any outstanding matters.

Some-one would have to take care of the technical stuff, though. I have enough to do with the rest.

Indeed, most people traveling would rather play than due a live event.

We haven't any video expert. The most we did was me bringing my laptop and webcam, and register EC videos like that, but I'm quite a n00b on this matter.

I have a Go Pro 4 that I can tag along, but I really wouldn't know how to set that up or connect it to twitch for live streaming. So if anybody wants to take care of that I'll happily provide a good quality camera!

Besides that, same as Paul and Cedric, if I lose out on the tournament and/or consolation I would be happy to provide some commentary on the errors that Cedric and Paul are making

I just called at the venue, but unfortunatly the "wifi is not too stable" in the place where we are.
Seems to be the curse of th European SW tourney locations. (Well, if we have as much fun as in Bochum, I guess it could be worse.

I'll try to talk to them again, but if you guys want to be 100% sure, then you'd probably need an external connection that is stable.

I'll keep the bracket updated throughout the day. I will post on the boards as and when it is convenient but from past experience this will be unlikely. The best way to get updates is to come and play
