7,425 games of SWCCG played in April.

248 games per day. 10 games being played every hour.

I know there’s a quarantine bump and all, but those numbers still floor me. Were there even that many games per day/month when the game was in its prime? Let alone 20 years out of print?

I’ve said it before: besides the creation of the PC itself, GEMP is the single best thing to happen to this game.

One of the huge spikes correlates right to when set 11 dropped, so yeah.

I'm not positive, but I think that's when GEMP became committed to work on a continuing basis. It's when he started this thread: https://forum.starwarsccg.org/viewtopic ... 64&t=64301 and all the v-cards were finished within 3-6 months of that. That, in combination with the major of that time (MPC?) I'm guessing is the reason. When was the first GeMPC?

Jan 17 is right when I was coming back to the game, after Rogue One sparked the nostalgia a month earlier. I’ve read accounts from other NARPs with a similar timeline.

That’s not *the* reason for a spike, but probably a contributing factor, along with the card pool being closer to completion by then.
