I’m working on some sort of Christmas/Holiday podcast thing in the style of This American Life. One thing I’m looking for is a few people interested in writing/reading essays or short stories related to the holiday season. Oooh whew. I thought you were announcing you were doing a live stream of you watching the Holiday Special. This sounds much better.

You have to start projects like these pretty early. I started recording my Christmas album in July.

As someone who used to work at a mall on Black Friday, I am especially sensitive to this!
Yes...ive dated myself there. I worked at a mall...AND Black Friday used to be the beginning of Christmas shopping, NOT Thanksgiving day at 2pm.
Which reminds me....time to add to the pet peeve thread.

Yeah the special won’t air until after Thanksgiving. Don’t worry. Just looking for collaborators at this point.
