Labeling channels, topics, group discussions to separate chats. It goes against the free flow of human conversation.
It allows multiple discussions to occur simultaneously without turning it into a jumbled mess of messages.
So would channel 1, channel 2, channel 3 as labels without constricting me.

And then when someone had a deck discussion topic, or off topic, or forum game, how would they know which one to put it in?

And if it's just custom to put, say, deck discussions in forum 3, why not give it that label

Having a place for TMW threads keeps things organized, without one thread about when decklists are due in subforum 3, one thread about the start dates in subforum 5, one thread about registration in subforum 8, etc.

I don't understand this complaint.

I'm totally against censorship, but being allowed to post whatever but just organizing things by topic doesn't seem to fit that, to me.

What's the best LS deck to play right now if I want to have a chance against ISB?

None. ISB didn't get hit by the CBT changes and is now super broken but only just slightly less broken than Court. Everyone should play Chris Kelly's pet deck hitco because that is what D&D policy has become. HITCO or bust is the new slogan.

Speaking of D&D, does anyone here still play dungeons and dragons? I don't but I have a friend who sometimes plays on Friday nights.

I've been wanting to play d&d for a decade+!

Gloomhaven is the closest I've come.

I found a cool mod I'd like to try from the guys who used to write for Bioware before they were bought by EA.

I've used roll 20 and D&D beyond to kind of play online.

Irrational and inexplicable are close enough.

Gloomhaven is good. I think the computer game version now allows multiplayer.

I think if you and I are in a group, you'd turn me into a turtle (or another random polymorph) while I attack.

1/3rd, 1/4th, 1/5th....1/14th etc..

But it's not 1/2lf? No, everyone knows 1/2=one-half. Let's just get rid of the extra letters. Is this even an appropriate way to dictate fractions??

Maybe this is an American thing but I have never seen 1/3 written as 1/3rd. :???

Oh, is that what he's mad about in this one? I couldn't even figure it out.

No, that's not an American thing; we'd generally write 1/3 or say 'one third.'

Yeah I've only heard it said. The only time I see the letters is in a non-fraction, e.g. he got 3rd.

I suppose we could cut them there and say he got 3 and know from context it should be read aloud as 3rd. We do a lot of context in reading because of homophones anyways.

But he got 1 rather than he got 1st, I don't really see an advantage to using no letters.

So I lost 1/2 my life force, and the he lost 1/3 of his hand to a monnok... doesn't seem to use letters any time I can think of.

To be fair, I'm staring at wills and trust documents where hereinto is a regularly occurring word. It's almost as if lawyers intentionally make word salad to increase their fees.

Also, Microsoft Word accepts 1/3rd to the point where it automatically resizes the rd portion.

I do think that's about 1/2lf of what they charge you for.

It's just recognizing to resize "rd" after "3". You don't need the 1/ part.
