Basic Premiere to R2 decklists?

Post by dms »

I'm looking to play on GEMP during the quarantine. I haven't played in about ten years!

Is there anywhere I can find basic deck lists using cards from Premiere to R2?

I used to like TRM for LS and TDIGWATT for DS. If I could find one of each that would be sweet.

You’re better off playing open if you haven’t played in a while. It will be easier to find opponents, get tips on decks, and avoid broken abusive strategies.

Sorry to be that guy, but I’ve seen variations of this question a lot lately. People think that playing a non-virtual format will lower the learning curve. This isn’t the case.

Good players who want to help mostly play Open and there isn’t a crazy amount of virtual cards to learn. The only time I would recommend playing P-RII would be if you already have an old list Or fairly deep knowledge of the format.

Sealed leagues would be a better way back into the game.

Just jumping in and learning the virtual format and shields helps. There are a lot of video resources now.

Could you suggest some of the videos to get caught up on new cards? I looked at the GEMP YouTube page but it didn’t have anything.

There is a Premiere to Ref II format and a Premiere to DSII format. Both of which see a little play on GEMP. Unfortunately, decklists for those formats are not readily available and it may take some time to find a game - though if you ask in the GEMP lobby some players may be willing to join your game.

Happy to fill you in on what we see alot on GEMP just send me a PM. I do not have decklists readily available but can provide some highlights I am sure.
Glad to have you!

I only play PREMIERE- REFLECTIONS II (no v-cards and most importantly no Episode 1)...would love to talk to others that play this format! :popcrn:

Those are the second two most popular formats on Gemp at the moment.
